Toys for Gaby
by Cheryl KingJust thought I would relay a cute story about Gaby:
Well, I bred her to Larry and the next day she was just horrible. So I thought and I thought what can I do, so I put a rattle in with her, well that didn't make her happy, so I put one of the dogs squeaky toys in with her, well that was ok, but still not completely happy, so I put a small stuffed floppy ear bunny in with her. She is now happy with all her new toys. She is the most loving and protective of her new toys.
The moral of this story, if you have a doe that is uncontrollable and
charges. Give them toys. We all like toys from time to time. Cheryl King

Subject: molt
Deb; Rabbits molt here in Nebraska with weather changes, (which is about every 5 minutes, so we don't encourage it!!). But if you want them to molt, try adding a 1/2-teaspoon of calf manna, or whole-wheat grain, to their food for 4-5 days straight. This has never failed me yet. The only problem you have to watch is that you do not give them so much wheat/manna that they get diarrhea. Greg
